Edemilson Paraná
Edemilson Paraná is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at LUT University, Finland. He has taught at the University of Brasília and the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil, and held research fellowships at the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA, Brazil), the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research and Data (WISERD)/Cardiff University. He holds a Ph.D. and an MSc in Sociology from the University of Brasília, Brazil. Edemilson has lectured and published in the areas of Political Economy, Economic Sociology, and Social Theory. His research interests include Digital Economy, Digital Finance, Financialisation, and the Political Economy of Artificial Intelligence.
