I hold a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the State University of Ceará, a master’s degree in sociology from the Federal University of Ceará and a Ph.D. in sociology and politics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais.

Research interests
I am interested in contemporary political science and political behavior. I have not developed agent-based models since I finished my Ph.D. dissertation, but, in the near future, I may again use a computer to simulate social behavior.
