About
Recipient of a CAPES scholarship at Brown University (1996–1997) and at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs (2009–2010). Served as an ad hoc advisor to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Currently, he is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Sociology.
He has experience in the fields of political science and sociology, with an emphasis on public policy and the sociology of development. His work primarily focuses on the following topics: regional development, the political economy of globalization, and telecommunications policy.
