Linda Maria de Pontes Gondim
About
Linda Maria de Pontes Gondim is a sociologist and holds a doctoral degree in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University, USA.
She entered the faculty of the Department of Social Sciences at Universidade Federal do Ceará in 1992, where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses in urban sociology and research methods. She has been the head of the City Studies Research Laboratory at UFC from 2002 up to the present.
Linda Gondim has retired in 2017. Since then, she has worked as a collaborator to the Graduate Program in Sociology at UFC. She also collaborates to the Master’s Program in Architecture, Urbanism, and Design at UFC.
